- Creed, What's This Life For?, 1997
I know these are among the most contentious to be included on a site about Heavy Metal Music, and I realize that some metalheads vehemently disagree with designating these tracks as metal (although others might use the terms "Rap-Metal" [ wikipedia, allmusic] or "Funk-Metal" [ allmusic] to describe some of these artists). Maybe they are, and maybe they aren't, but one thing I do know: these tracks kick ass (incidentally, the  applies to all of these)!
